Costa Mesa, Calif. – August 15, 2007, RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC, a global investment bank, has promoted four senior-level professionals. Michael Parham, David Burke, and Mark Agosto have been promoted from vice president to senior vice president in the firm’s Costa Mesa, Calif. headquarters, and Jack Gonder has been promoted from associate vice president to vice president in the company’s Chicago office.
“These four executives continue to strengthen our firm by working within the senior deal teams and helping RSM EquiCo enhance its position as one of the premier global investment banks," said Hector J. Cuellar, president of RSM EquiCo Capital Markets. "Their skill and experience managing M&A transactions significantly add to the success of both offices."
Michael Parham
Michael Parham’s background includes mergers, acquisitions, corporate finance and restructuring. Prior to joining RSM EquiCo Capital Markets, he was vice president in the M&A department of Credit Lyonnais Securities Inc. and served in the M&A Group of Daiwa Securities America, Inc. Parham began his career at Deloitte & Touche’s international group, serving in New York and Moscow.
Parham is a CPA and an honors graduate of Dartmouth College. He received a master’s degree in business administration from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
David Burke
David Burke has more than 10 years of investment banking experience with expertise in financial analysis, research analysis, business planning, and strategic and operational consulting. He has advised companies in a variety of industries, including construction, industrial minerals, manufacturing, distribution, and high technology. Prior to joining RSM EquiCo, Mr. Burke worked for Kibel, Green, Issa Inc., a crisis-management consulting and M&A firm, where he specialized in sell-side advisory services and debt and equity placements.
Burke has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of California, Riverside and a master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
Jack Gonder
Jack Gonder has more than 15 years of experience in investment and corporate banking. Since joining RSM EquiCo Capital Markets in 2004, Mr. Gonder has successfully completed more than 15 sale and re-capitalization transactions in numerous industries including services, food and beverage, technology, recycling and energy. He previously was employed by LaSalle Bank as a first vice president and division head, executing a range of M&A and debt-financing transactions, and before that he provided corporate banking products and services in JPMorgan Chase's middle-market group. He currently is a board member for Chicago-based Robert Morris College.
Mr. Gonder obtained a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received a master’s degree with concentrations in economics, finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 security licenses.
Mark Agosto
Mark Agosto has more than 12 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. Prior to joining RSM EquiCo, he was a vice president with a San Francisco-based merchant bank where he facilitated leveraged and management buyouts. He also worked as a mergers and acquisitions principal with a Boston based middle-market investment bank. He has advised over 100 companies and has been involved in both the sell-side and buy-side of the merger and acquisition process in a variety of industries.
Mr. Agosto earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo and master's in business administration with honors in finance from Boston University. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
