Jerome G. Merchant

Mr. Merchant has more than 20 years of experience in investment banking and capital raising. Prior to joining RSM EquiCo, he held senior-level positions with MetLife Investors and Citigroup, where he advised an array of prominent financial institutions, including Citibank, Smith Barney, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank. Mr. Merchant served as senior vice president for Cal Fed Investments and before that as director of strategic planning with the UB Group. He also directed the West Coast capital raising operations for a boutique equity group, making equity-oriented management buyouts and strategic acquisitions. He received a bachelor's degree in managerial economics-finance from the University of California, Davis. He is fluent in French and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
