Charlene Davidson

Ms. Davidson has more than 20 years of global corporate and investment banking experience, advising entrepreneurs, principals and corporations on an array of business transactions, including strategic planning, capital raising, and M&A. She has executed comprehensive capital structure strategies for public and private companies as well as provided advisory roles for capital raising, liquidity access, investment management, cross border banking and global corporate finance activities.
Ms. Davidson worked at Banc of America Securities LLC (and its predecessor firms) for 15 years. Most recently as senior managing director, she led the firm's Global Financial Institutions Investment Banking practice in Los Angeles and New York, and launched the Financial Technology practice in Palo Alto, Calif. During her nine years of leadership, the Global Financial Institutions Group dramatically expanded its advisory roles in volume and value across the various financial industries. In addition, she implemented a global network of bankers and transaction experts, resulting in significant growth of mandated transactions for 1,100 clients worldwide.
Subsequently, Ms. Davidson collaborated with technology, business services and media bankers to design a Financial Technology practice at Banc of America Securities focused exclusively on the convergence of enabling software technologies, business process outsourcing, financial services companies and emerging service providers. This strategic confluence established the footprint for team research, advisory and execution activities and produced precise client value imperatives, further driving capital access and advancement to the growing financial services sector.
Ms. Davidson is an advisory board member to several growth-stage financial technology companies, a Women in Business mentor to the University of California, Los Angeles and a frequent speaker at financial industry associations and related networking organizations. She studied accounting and finance at Bentley College, Cambridge University and Stonier Graduate School of Banking and holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
